Hi there! The May newsletter is coming a few days early! I wanted to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone for all the well wishes during my surgery and the recovery. I was overwhelmed with cards, phone calls, flowers and so many of you have continued to check on me in person as I have transitioned back to working at the shop. I’m so grateful to be surrounded by this amazing community.
Saturdays with Sandy
Our Saturdays with Sandy for May is this coming weekend on May 3rd, 2025. I hope to see you at 9:00am. This month is another Show and Tell to keep us inspired and of course show off all your hard work! It can be a WIP or a completed project/quilt. We will also be giving you a shop update and have an exclusive sale for those that attend.
Let’s Talk Tariffs
We are still waiting for a few more of our distributers to let us know if there will be any changes with pricing regarding tariffs. There will be a price increase with fabrics in the near future, but we are still unsure at this point how much they will be going up and from which companies. Additionally, we have had some hiccups with ordering many of the notions we normally keep in the shop. Due to the uncertainty with pricing, some of our distributors have put a hold on ordering many products. Therefore, they are not available to us. We will be ordering as soon as it becomes possible and adjust what we order as we see fit with new pricing.
