I hope everyone has had a wonderful summer. I’m excited for fall and looking forward to working on some projects for all of the upcoming QUILTY events and holidays. I had the pleasure of being invited to the August Columbine Quilt Guild meeting and have officially become a member. There are quite a few things happening at the shop over the next few months so I may be sending out a few more newsletters and will also be posting on Instagram. Here’s what we have coming up….
Project Jelly Roll is an event sponsored by Moda Fabrics and Sew A Jelly Roll Day is on Saturday, September 16th! I will have a beautiful display of jelly rolls, patterns and books for you to pick from, so come in before the 16th and “Get Ready To Roll!”
The shop will be getting more shelves this month to accommodate the new collections that are coming in. I can’t wait to show them to you and start cutting out new quilts.
Monthly Drawing! Debbie Braun was our winner for August. Congratulations! The prize for September is a Riley Blake Designs quilted bag and an Effervescence 2 ½ inch rolie polie by Sue Daley!
The shop will be CLOSED on Sunday, September 24th as I have a family event to attend in California. I will also be closing an hour earlier on Saturday, September 23rd in order to catch my flight! I apologize for the inconvenience. Please feel free to order online for ‘pick up in-store’ and I will have it ready for you on Wednesday morning.
COMING SOON! Bee Dots by Lori Holt will be coming sometime in September and the following collections will be arriving in October… Peachy Keen by Cory Yoder, Hush Hush 3 by multiple Riley Blake Designers and Afternoon Tea by Beverly McCullough.
Additionally, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month so the shop will be turning PINK! I know several ladies within the quilting community who have encountered Breast Cancer themselves or know someone who has. Help me honor these warriors during October! More information will be coming about STITCH PINK festivities!
