About Little Sandy's Quilt Shop!

Welcome to Little Sandy’s Quilt Shop!  My name is Sandy and I am the owner of our little family owned quilt shop.  Let me tell you how I got here….

I am a mother of 5 and happily married to my husband Trent. When I was pregnant with our last baby, we decided to make the move from California to Colorado to be closer to family. We had our last baby in January 2020 and the pandemic hit in March.  I have been sewing since my older kids were little, making costumes for their school plays, Halloween and lots of other little projects. I learned to sew from my mom, who suggested that we take an online quilting course while we were stuck at home during the pandemic. I quickly fell in love with it! I started watching videos and tutorials and enjoyed shopping for all of the pretty fabric. A trip to Utah for the Garden of Quilts in September of 2022 and shop hopping with my mom and Godmother, made me even more excited about quilting. Unable to find the fabrics I loved in any local shops, I realized it was the perfect opportunity to open a quilt shop in our little town.
